With more than 28,000 species threatened with extinction, it is crucial the we do what we can to
help save our incredible wildlife. An analysis of IUCN Red List's 2019 Summary Statistics led me to want to see how I can create
a data visualisation that has the potential to allow viewers from all over the world understand this crisis.
With a selection of 75 countries, this visualisation represents five main threatened species classifications; Extinct (EX), Critically Endangered (CR), Endangered (EN), Vulnerable (VU), and Near Threatened (NT). What the data set presented was that so many of the countries around the world have so many vulnerable and near threatened species, and it is now our job to protect these species to the best of our abilities.
